Original sin 2 steam mods not downloading

I have copied the mods from the Steam\Steamapps\workshop\content\435150 folder to the Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods as advised on many sites. They all appear in the Mods option in the Main Menu. All enabled and confirmed but do not exist in game or in GM mode, please advise as this is very frustrating!
